Faith Formation

An essential element of the Christian walk is our requirement to be discipled in the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We seek to accomplish this by being intentional in our reading, teaching, and studying of God’s Word in the sacred scriptures.  All of the ministries incorporated within this tier are aimed at the goal of helping to better shape and form the faith of our church family.
“All scripture is breathed out by God, and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

generation 112

Our church culture celebrates and affirms an intergenerational approach to ministry.  The beauty of the Christian witness is that it can be exemplified within every generational demographic of our families.  Often times, where we are in our relationship with Christ is also a reflection of the season of our lives that we’re currently in as well.  It’s important that we understand that there is immense value to our spiritual witness regardless of which season of life we’re currently graced to be in.  The following ministries are representative of such seasons and the zeal of the Christian witness therein.
“For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”
Psalm 100:5 (ESV)

Stewardship

One of the principle themes throughout God’s Word is the biblical lesson that everything in the universe belongs to God.  As believers, we understand that we don’t own anything and that we are called to be managers and stewards of everything that already belongs to Him.  In addition to embodying this biblical principle, all of the ministries within this tier are committed to executing the church’s vision/mission statement while leading others in the delight of God’s love.
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.  The world and all its people belong to him.”
Psalm 24:1 (NLT)
